Little Willina

My dear friend Jeanine bought this jacket for Jillian's 1st birthday. Shortly after I bought her this hat with the little braids. Bob says that she looks like a female version of Willie Nelson...so we started calling it her "Willina" hat. Now Dylan will sometimes call Jillian "Willina".

Nail Bitter

Bob was so nervous during the Colts game last night. As you can tell by the pictures it was a nail bitter game for him. In the first half he just about busted my eardrum screaming his displeasure at the defense. The second half he sat quietly and chewed his nails until the very end. As the last seconds ticked off the play clock he started screaming and making phone calls to friends and family.

COLTS ARE GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL!!!!

Colts are going to Superbowl XLI! What an awesome game! I have pictures of Bob during the game. By the end of the game all of Bob's nails were gone! GO COLTS!

Scripture Memorization

We started scripture memorization with Dylan a few weeks ago. He is doing so well and enjoys memorizing scripture . This week he learned Colossians 3:20 "Children, obey your parents in everything for this pleases the Lord. " He learns so quickly and can usually quote the verse the first or second day.

I am so blessed that my son loves Jesus and enjoys learning about the Bible. It is worth all the effort you put into teaching them. Please pray that I do my best in teaching him about Jesus.

Bob and the Wine goblet

Bob is going to kill me for posting this picture but I thought it was too great a picture to pass up. We were watching "Reba" the tv show and Barbara Jean put the entire base of a wine glass in her mouth. Of course Bob let me know that he was just as talented. Needless to say from the pictures I wanted proof.

Christmas with Dylan

Christmas with Dylan was a blas this year! He was very specific about what he wanted for Christmas this year. He wanted Rescue Heroes and GI Joe action figures. As you can tell by the pictures he got what he wanted for Christmas.

Jillian's 2nd Christmas

Jillian had a wonderful 2nd Christmas! She was a little overwhelmed with all of the travelling and presents. Her favorite present was the Fisher Price kitchen that we gave her for Christmas.

Dylan's preschool Christmas program

Dylan did a wonderful job in his Christmas program. He was the clown as usual. He loves to bow after every song and reciting piece.

I'm back...

Hello everyone I apologize for the long abscence in updating my blog and promise never again to allow this much time to pass before posting.
I hope that everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. It is good to be back again.
Our family had a wonderful Christmas visiting my parents in WV and Bob's parents in Peoria IL this year. It was special being able to spend Christmas with my grandparents in WV. It was the first time in 7 years that I had been able to spend Christmas with them.
Dylan and Jillian had a wonderful Christmas and loved all of their MANy presents.

Fun in the leaves

Dylan loves the piles of leaves in our yard. He asked Bob to rake all of the leaves together into one huge pile. Then they moved the Fisher Price slide so that he could slide into the leaves. It is amazing the imaginative things that children put together.

Jeanine and Tasha

Reconnecting with an old friend

I have finally reconnected with my dear friend Tasha. While attending college Tasha, my best friend Jeanine, and I were inseparable. After moving away from Cincinnati to the great state of Indiana I lost contact with Tasha. Jeanine & I have remained close friends and searched for Tasha for several years.
A couple of weeks ago I finally found my dear friend. She is living in Grand Cayman with her husband Darrell and daughters Kylie and Camerin. Tasha is teaching 5th grade and coaching.

Happy Halloween!

The unicorn is my 4 year old niece Rachel. Dylan chose his Superman costume based on the male ego. He wanted muscles! Jillian's ladybug costume was a big hit. She danced around laughed, and clapped her hands. Jillian thought she was really big stuff.

After 1 1/2 hours of trick-or-treating they each ended up with a whole bowel of candy. I love Halloween!
